Room spray, room decor & nail art.

Hey everybody! This is the last post in the Autumn Bucket List’14 series! Yay! Anyways, let’s get started with this.

(And yes, I do know that I’m extremely late.)

#10. Autumn Manicure + Pedicure.

I did two different manicures. Don’t mind the vampish one, as the picture looks ghostly because I was going through what I call ‘the extreme-Retrica phase’.

Vamp nails.

Inspired by the song “All of the Lights.” And don’t ask me how. Or why.

And in this pic of my so called “pedicure”, which was clicked at camp, my feet look very alien-like & the sleeping bags are photobombing, so, yeah. And ignore the fact that I’m wearing oversized track pants & that this is just a plain red nail polish.

#6. Decorate my room.

Fairy lights

More fairy lights.

My whiteboard (never mind that it’s holiday themed now, considering that I forgot to take a picture of it when it was autumn themed heehee).

Table. Pineconessssssss

Inspired by one of mylifeaseva’s videos.

Inspired by @letmeinspireyou on Instagram. I decided to use only triangles in the background, though.

And the best… wall! Woohoo! It took some effort, because I made everything myself.

And here we have a closer look-

#17. Make an autumn scented candle room spray.

Yeah, I did tweak this task a little, but it’s just because I feel that a room spray is much more convenient to use.

The spray. And yea, this is one of my attempts at taking artistic photographs.

How Dracula made this concotion

I put vanilla essence, bay leaves, orange essence, strawberry essence, oregano, cinnamon, & a few cloves in a  bowl of water, & then I microwaved it.

Afterwards, I simply poured it into an empty spray bottle.

Tip: Filter the mixture before pouring it into the spray bottle, because if you simply pour it in (like I did), then there’s a high chance of the spray bottle’s pipe-thing getting jammed up.

And that, folks, finally wraps up the autumn stuff! Yay!

➽ ➽ ➽ ➽ ➽

Will start posting the winter stuff soon,

Howdy! How’s everything going? 😀

As I mentioned in my previous post, I went to camp 2 weeks ago for 6 days of non-stop awesomeness, after which normal life feels really bland 😦 I’m still trying to adjust.

The funny thing about this camp was that I was with my school friends (my best friend Cody wasn’t there, though), because this camp was organized by our school, plus there were kids from another school. We lived in tents, & there were 8 people allowed in each tent (but on the last day, we managed to have a sleepover in the tent I was in, so that night there were 15 people in our tent XD). It was freaking cold there during the morning & evening, but the afternoons were stifling.

And as for why we had a sleepover with almost double the amount of people allotted to each tent, it’s because, well, I feel kinda dumb saying this, but there were these stories going around at dinner that night that some evil spirit thing has been coming to the woods that were next to the row of our tents at exactly 2 am everyday, & he had this huge axe kind of thing with him, & once you saw him he would disappear within an instant. All of us were already extremely tired from the day’s activities, so none of us actually bothered to use our brains, believed the story, & got gigundo scared. So two of our friends (there were too many of us so we had to split up into seperate tents) decided to stay in our tent, then 4 of the girls from the other school came over too because their school’s kids were so freaked out that they had started making a huge deal out of it & called up their parents to pick them up & these girls got really irritated by that (not to mention it was scaring them too), plus one of our tent mates’ friend came over too.

In my Autumn Bucket List’14, there were 2 tasks that were to be completed at camp, which I managed to knock off the list, plus I did another task there too.

#29.Play a crazy prank at camp.

My friends & I played a bunch of idiotic pranks on each other all day, everyday, & none of them were really thaaat crazy, but I think that the one I’m counting for this task was quite memorable.

Basically what happened was that we all were returning to our tents one evening, & me & one of my friends (let’s call her, um, Sal for now because I really can’t think of an appropriate nickname for her right now) decided to put leaves (you know those little oval ones?) in another of our friends’ hoodie. So we gathered a handful of those leaves & sneaked up behind our friend just as we were reaching the tents & we slipped them into her hoodie, & she was like “Whaaa-?!” Naturally, my reaction was to yell out “Yay!” & jump with joy, but the thing is, I didn’t realize that I’m standing right under a tree that had really low (& thick) branches, so I ended up getting hit really hard on the top of my head & falling down. Right there on the ground. In front of everyone. Brilliant.

#28. Pull an all nighter at camp.

It wasn’t exactly an all nighter, but I’ll count it as one, because we really didn’t have it in us to stay up all night after a tiresome day of activities, & then be woken up at 4:30 am with our instructors running all around outside, heartily shouting “Wake up, everybody! Wake up!”

We just managed to stay up later than usual. So, yeah. And it was the same night as that Evil Spirit/Illegal Sleepover night. We stayed up talking about random stuff & eating cup noodles & stuff.

#27.  Accomplish something on my Life Bucket List.

At camp, we went zorbing (which is task #49 on my Life Bucket List)! Woohoo! It was one of the best parts of camp.

To be honest, I was terrified of going into a plastic ball & getting rolled around, & at one point I considered backing out of it, but then I realized that it would be utterly dumb, because, seriously, haven’t about a million people already done it? Exactly. Plus, I had my lucky socks on, so, yep.

I’m glad I didn’t back out, though. It was amazing, & according to me, it’s one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lives.

<< The photos are in my friend’s phone, so I’ll add them here once I get them from her! 🙂 >>

And comments make me happy. Just saying.

Butterbeer, mug decoration & more

Okay, so I know that I’m quite  extremely late in updating about my Autumn Bucket List’14, but I’ll try & cover up everything in the following week, so……yeah. Let’s get on with this.

And a quick little announcement – If you read my previous posts related to my A.B.L.’14, you’ll probably remember that I said that camp got cancelled. Anyways, they cancelled the plan of cancelling the camp & I was able to go. Yay! It was amazing. And I’ll further talk about this later, in one of my next posts.

#2. Make some butterbeer.

I found a recipe for butterbeer on Pinterest, & I attempted to make it. To be honest, the end result was quite good, though I would like to try the actual butterbeer at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter someday.

This is the recipe I found on Pinterest.

After brewing.

And then I decided to add my initial with cinnamon powder.

As I mentioned above, it was good, but I really should have put in a little less sugar, because it was too sweet for my taste. And see the mug? *minion voice* Heeheeeheeeheeeheee. Banana!

#13. Decorate a ceramic mug for use during NaNo.

I found a picture on Pinterest (the first pic) & I tried to recreate it. And sorry for the bad picture quality. I forgot to focus in & didn’t realize that XD

I tried to recreate this.

        I tried to recreate this.

The mug – BEFORE

I added this detail after I saw a similar thing somewhere on the net. Cute, isn’t it? 😉

#14. Participate in NaNoWriMo.

I did participate & I did manage to win. My word-count goal was 20K words. And I finished NaNo in 29 days, because on the morning of 30th November I had to go to camp.

My participant badge.

And my winner's badge.

#36. Make a leaf crown.

I have ABSOLUTELY no idea why I put this on my list, but so it goes. I didn’t even wear it. Making it was kinda fun, but also a bit irritating, because the leaves JUST. WOULDN’T. STICK. Here’s some advice – don’t ever try to glue leaves together using a hot glue gun. And once again, an out of-focus-picture. You’re welcome.

Zee leaf crown. Woohoo.

I’m tired of typing. I’ll publish another blog post within a few days 🙂

Until next time,

Poopaye! (It’s goodbye in banana/minion language.)

It’s finally autumn here! + Updates on Autumn B.L.

Okay, now see- 1) That camp got postponed. It’s in December now. 2)I made the notes to leave in the books, but I chickened out at the bookstore at the last moment. One of the employees was watching me suspiciously. 3) I’m currently in the midst of decorating my room. I posted a pic on Instagram, if you want to check it out. It’s a DIY’d poster (My username is briareden allthatrandomosity). 4)My autumn break ended last week & I have been really busy with school for the past 8 days. In my autumn break, I, despite being burdened with my birthday and cleaning & organizing my room, managed to complete a few tasks.

#16. Make some apple cinnamon rings.

Oh. My. God. They were so delicious. If you haven’t tried this recipe, then you haven’t lived.

After being fried.

Yum yum

#26. Go to a fair.

I did this twice – two different fairs. I bought the mugs for NaNo at one of them. Other things in What I Did-

1) I ate pasta.

2)I had some ice cream.

#30. Go book shopping.

I bought a bunch of books from different shops-

  • The Maze Runner

#32. Make a Book Bucket List.

About 1/4 of these books are books that I already own, or have read halfway through. The rest of them are those that I can’t manage to find ANYWHERE.

#33.Make a Movie Bucket List.

I have just one thing to say – it’s pretty long.

➽ ➽ ➽ ➽ ➽

Sorry about the boring post,

He wanted to say hi

I did one task…

I actually sat down to write this post about 3 hours ago. But then I needed new music to type along to. And then out of nowhere I remembered Moshi Monsters (yeah yeah I know judge me if you want). And I made an account on it. And then I started playing.

Anyways, did ya listen to Steal My Girl? It’s absolutely amazing ♡

And I’ve already completed a task on my Autumn Bucket List – #23. Make my blog look autumn-y. I think that it actually does look autumn-y, doesn’t it? 🙂

By the way, this really funny thing happened a few days ago- I was talking to my sister. I’ve suddenly got a weird obsession with foxes ( they’re so adorable), so basically I asked, “Do you like foxes?” and she said “Depends on the flavour.” I just froze there, speechless, until….

….I realized that she’s talking about the candy Fox’s. And then I told her that I was talking about the animal. And then we started laughing maniacally.

Anyways people, stay tuned for my antics!

And I just sounded like a radio jockey or something wooh….

➽ ➽ ➽ ➽ ➽

Happy Autumn (and no, it’s still stifling hot here)!

(I just realized that I didn’t sign off in my last post)

Autumn! (ft. my Autumn Bucket List)

Buenos Dias people!

(What language was that anyways? Italian? Spanish? Latin? It just showed up on so I used it)

Autumn is coming! Yay!

But it is SO STIFLING HOT here right now. Autumn, be here already.

It’s not like the leaves actually change colour here. They just turn yellow & fall off in the blink of an eye. They don’t turn red or orange or brown like in all those pictures I see everywhere. But it’s still called autumn.

September is definitely not autumn for me. October is. And honestly, I think October is the best month ever.

I’m busy the whole September. Like oh-god-please-September-end-already-you’re-choking-me-with-so-much-stuff-to-do busy. So, the time for doing the bucket list tasks is 30th September 2014 to 10th November 2014.

Why do I make a picture collage for everything?

I do not own the images. They are all from We Heart It. But I do take credit for making the collage.

I am SO excited for autumn! (Yea it’s still stifling hot here.)

But right now, I should probably just go & study. Blechhhhh.
